Aika hassua :D
The previous weekend something exciting happened and I got to speak Finnish to someone face to face ,which I haven't done in almost 8 months! So there's this new exchange student, Emma who has arrived to Australia a few weeks ago and is living here pretty close to me :)
First it felt so weird but after awhile I got the hang of it. Because after 8 months of only speaking English this is currently almost like my strongest language! Even when I'm thinking or counting something by myself I automatically do it English.
I spent there one night, from Saturday to Sunday and had a lovely time. And we decided to start cooking. And everyone who knows me, also knows that I am terrible when it comes to cooking. Me in the kitchen never means anything good haha. But it didn't stop us. We both didn't really know what we were doing half of the time but it ended up being pretty yummy anyways! We did this traditional Finnish dish and then a cake. Though thanks to me the cake reminded more of a space ship.. It took us almost 4 hours to do it all but it was worth it :)
After our late dinner we watched Youtube videos and ate Remix lollies ♥ (these lollies Emma had brought with her from Finland)
The next morning we woke up about 10am and we had to take some really weird photos for my school assignment I'm not gonna show them before they are al ready but let's just say that I made Emma in to a doll and then I threw flour on her face, hahah. Poor Emma had some traumatic experiences while I was just laughing.
Emma lives at Haberfield and it was funny how that whole are was Italian. There were Italian cafe's and shops and it was the main language you could hear there. I even bought some Italian ice cream when we went out for a walk to take some photos and to look around. But then after this it was time for me to go home.
Happily I will be seeing Emma again in a few weeks when we will be going to a music festival together, yay! But that's something I'll tell about another time.
Lopetan tän postauksen nällä kisu kuvilla, koska hei, ketä ei nyt rakasta tollasta karva naamaa?
These photos of the kitten will end this post, because hey who dosen't like kittens?
